I've been pondering on this no holds bared split in UK society and a strange idea sprang to life in my head. British society is so divided at the moment, in so many directions that it is difficult to see what could somehow, even superficially bring them back together.

Strange as it may seem, there is such a thing. It's called British Humour. Often self deprecating, intelligent, witty it can make one forget about stuff even if for one moment, and it can deliver a good belly laugh... and we all are gonna need plenty of those in the years to come.
