Telekom Germany vs Telekom Romania. Btw , Telekom is the shittiest internet company in Romania and arguably one of the shittiest German companies operating here. That said , when it comes to data , Western Europe is an underdeveloped shithole with Germany leading the pack. Blatant monopolies that own the infrastructure , American style lobbying which is their fancy way of saying corruption while keeping a straight face , customer services that would be deemed unacceptable by a Somali pirate. But they give everybody an Iphone on a 2 year contract so the plebs are happy and don't ask any questions. And this is Continental Europe. In Anglo countries they are bought and sold like slaves , they live in the 1700's. In England they have a fiber to home coverage of just over 2%. I'm not exaggerating , I think I rolled and deployed more fiber with my own two hands back in the summer of 2006 than they deployed all over the country since then. Australia doesn't really have internet , they have something sort of like internet , and in the US they do internet capitalism , which is the best capitalism , shut up , they actually do price-fixing to avoid a down spiraling price war and are supported by the political status-quo so as to preserve corporate profits.
