We are called „consumers“, not „users“, „plussers“ or any kind of nice word. We are, especially after #GDPR, a potentially risky nuisance, a legacy that will be pushed out of the club.

I have no bad feelings. I suspected it for quite some time. So after all these wonderful years, it’s going to end. I feel relieved. See my pinned post where I keep track of where I’ll be moving to.

„Consumer Google+

We decided to sunset the consumer version of Google+. To give users a full opportunity to transition, we will be implementing this wind-down over a 10-month period, slated for completion by the end of next August. Over the coming months, we will provide consumers with additional information, including ways they can download and migrate their data.“
