But, but, … he gave the indigenous people the incredible chance of getting resistant against several serious illnesses like smallpox, measles, the cough and others. Without Columbus they never would have had the chance to built up resistance. It was like one giant measles party.

That's why we celebrate Columbus Day as the beginning of the anti-vaxxer movement.
